Artwork management system is an end-to-end packaging and artwork management platform. The system is used for approval, storage, setting up workflow and asset library, etc of the label artwork which is being used on packaging of various kinds. This application introduces efficiencies in every step – from collating the content, designing the artwork, having it reviewed along with the vendor and proofed by the internal and external stakeholders, to finally releasing it to the markets. As a result, it helps organisations in regulated industries minimise the time spent on reworks and approvals, meet compliance requirements and significantly reduces the product’s time-to-market.

While the product is in the market, it goes through numerous changes driven by regulatory or brand needs. This artwork review process and tools help the organisation adapt to frequent label changes arising from regular updates in regulations. The system can be used by internal department users like Regulatory, Packaging, Quality Assurance, Marketing, R&D, etc and by external stakeholders like printing vendors, artwork studios and third-parties.

In-build workflow templates allow reusing a single workflow for multiple purposes. So while the workflow is the same, different templates can have different stakeholders and maybe even skip a few tasks. The graphics, content and barcodes can all be inspected and compared across artworks. Specifications for all types of printed and non-printed components (labels, cartons, bottles, caps, etc) can be created, managed, and shared from the system. The specifications are managed as data and can also be exported as a PDF file for sharing with vendors. This centralised application thus makes the process of designing an artwork more efficient and error-free.
